Just completed our Awana Grand Prix race last night. There were 49 total entrants. 48 of them wound up to be slower then our car! That's right, we took first place! Anyone reading this who is still on the fence about what products to use or what information to follow, then let me put your mind at ease. We could not have done as well as we have without Derbydad's advice and especially not without his polishes and oil/graphite. GET THE DVD. It will answer most of the oil questions.

However, I've got a dilemma here now. People were asking our secret to speed. I'd like to help promote derbydad, but then we might lose our edge.

Thanks again to all you pros for your advice. Last stop for us is the Pinewood district race in April.

Hey Curtis,

Congratulations to you and your son. I always promote DD4H parts, to raise the competition, but keep some of the building process to myself. Then it comes down to technique and craftsmanship. Best of luck to you at districts. Hope you do well.

great news! My state race is the end of march. Going to use some of DD4H products and secrets to.

[font="times new roman, times, serif"]Hey great job!!! And as far as giving others advice...well for me I know what I did to get here on the forum and I know that everyone that has helped me...Therefore, I dont have any problem helping anyone that needs something here on the forum, but other than that I just tell folks that we start next years car next weekend and that is our secret and its true. Otherwise I feel like they just want me to tell them my tricks that I have worked hard to earn so they dont have to... so if they find their way to the forum, then great if not no harm done. I understand what you mean. Everyone I race against here knows about DerbyDad4Hire. But, if you want the Karma share some info. Then race in the league. You'll be so far ahead that it won't matter. And, congrats!
