OK guys, I'm getting my checklist together to see if I'm forgetting anything. Here's what I did so far:
*Paid entry fee for race and enclosed copy of the paypal receipt in shipping box
*Filled out registration info on
http://pinewoodderbychampionships.com/registration-2/
*Labeled car, inside of the shipping box flap and Legend box with car name and my name and address
*Marked car body on DFW with a "D" for staging (I want the rear just centered so I left it unmarked)
*Made a shipping box for the Legend carrier and glued the foam in so there's no loose pieces to be misplaced.
I still need to make a shipping and a return label but I had a question. Does it matter if I ship the car with FedEx, UPS, or do I need to use the USPS? I get a discount with FedEx and UPS but I'll use the post office if it's going to cause someone else a headache by using them.
Anything else I can do to make it easy on the volunteers?
edit: WOOHOO! Just sold a truck grille on ebay, so I can put another order in to DD4H! Might even get a second SS car done if I have the time!
