I woke up yesterday to water running out of my garage.
The water heater went out.
After running to Lowes and then installing a new heater I was forced to clean the garage. UGH!
During the clean up I came across my first ever Derby car. It was under a storage shelving unit.
The kids must have been playing with it.
I remember this with a hand miter saw and using 1Oz fishing lures smashed down with a hammer.
I was curious about the alignment so I put it on my tuning board and I was WOW!
The wheels migrated out forward and backwards and it had a 3" drift over 48".
I took first place with this car and I think that is where I was bitten by the Pinewood bug...

Its in the back...

I remember helping a friend drill a 1/2" hole down the center of the block thinking that would make it faster... Little did we know... /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
