I know everyone says that oil is better than graphite. However, our rules only allow dry lubricant and specifically bans oil. You can tell from my previous question that our rules aren't followed, but i don't want to be the one who breaks them.
My son and I are going to build us a car for the June race to be sent by Proxy. If I can send more than one car in I'm going to also send in the car that we raced at District so that I can get a base line of comparing tracks as I know track set up makes a huge difference. Our car at District had its fastest time at 3.12. (slow by ya'lls standards but fast enough to win here) Next year, we want to beat that time.
Since we can only use graphite locally for scouting, I want to stick with that and see how fast we can build a car following our crazy rules. My question is this: can you build a car that goes sub 3.0 using graphite? (i just ordered the graphite that DerbyDad makes/sells) Thanks
