Graphite burnishing?

Whats the next best thing than a pin gauge to burnish the bore with graphite? Ive read cotton swab sticks are not the preferred method anymore.

You need to be very careful not to relax the bores.
You can damage your wheels quicker than it took to read this..

Has anyone use tamiya swabs to burnish?

You really want sheeting you can use to press the graphite in.. that is the important part... Pressing it in. That is why people will use a gage pin, stainless rod or polishef drill bit. It will take the pressure when you're trying to press the graphite into the bore.

Tamiya swabs and Q-tip stalks aren't really good for this
