Graphite wheels?

Is it a good idea to graphite the tread and inside rim of the steer wheel? Or any wheels?

Not the tread area this could cause wiggles but the inside lip that will contact the rail yes put graphite on this area. I have seen .003 to .005 gains just from putting graphite on the inner wheel where it touches the rail. Put the graphite on your finger and rub it in.

How about the 1 up wheel?incase the 1up makes contact with the track surface.

I don't because if the 1 up hits the rail you have a lot more problems than just the wheel hitting.
