+1 Thank you to all involved. It was the closest racing I've ever seen. That unlimited at the end was really something. It was neat to have 3 different views. I loved being able to see a closeup of each car and then watch it down the track. I also got some good renovation ideas (if I ever have a large room) from a video of some guy in his basement that showed like every 5 or 10 min. I think we decided over chat that we should show either a video of QT staging cars (so we don't know the video cut out) or we compile a blooper reel. Or maybe have a video contest? As long as its not a video of Mr. Chips doing the shuffle thing. /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
I didn't get to see Friday's action but I watched Saturday's action and it was some good tight racing. Nice race John and Andy. Congrats to all the winners and especially my homie Chuck aka SG3. I'm glad the ol Firebird worked out for ya!!!!!!

The 5th annual National Championship race turned out to be one of the best yet. First off we had 8 different winners! We had the most builders to ever participate in a pro event! The racing was excellent! More and more people are beginning to understand what I have been saying all along that winning an NPWDRL event is almost as hard as winning the lottery! League racing has reached a whole new level and should continue to grow. The league wars have passed and we finally have a single venue that everyone feels welcome to race at which gives us the very best racing that pinewood derby has ever seen.
I want to give a huge thank you to the gang that was live helping. There is no way to run events like this anymore without people stepping up and volunteering their time. Zeeb found us a great venue and had the track ready to roll and performed the death march for the entire event retrieving the cars from a track that was on the floor! QT is my wingman and is now a vital piece to the NPWDRL puzzle. I couldn't run these events without him. Chief was a warrior too! He took thousands of pictures we will share and was vital getting the cars unboxed and reboxed. 5 Kids and Quadad kept the party rolling doing all the prestaging. Gravity X, Rocket Car, and MXQuad were there on the spot, thank you for pitching in with whatever we needed. Thank you to the entire live crew! Everyone helped out wherever they could. I truly appreciate all of you help!

We had a few cars that ran under the wrong names but the names were changed and the racers should have their correct times. It is VITAL that you write your car name and builder name on the bottom of your car and the shipping box!!!!!!!! Overall it was a great job by the proxy racers shipping though.
