Hey guys, thanks for the add. I have recently gotten bit by the derby bug. Just completed my sons 5th derby, and for some reason got really into it this year. We won his web 1 den race and 1st place overall for speed. I did a lot of research this year and made a thin car (little over 1/4 inch thick) and used tungsten cubes with a cog of 3/4 of an inch. In prior years we got 3rd in Den (Lions) 1st in den, 3rd overall (Bears) got lucky with that one, because I threw it together in about 3 hours. Anyway I'm thinking I want to race in some adult leagues but have no idea where to start. I'm located in Austin TX. Any suggestions or recommendations will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Perfect timing. www.pinewoodderbyracing.com starts the 25th. The scout challenge class is the perfect entry point to league racing. I am getting back into it after some time off and ready to rebuild league racing to what it once was. I started the NPWDRL and league racing was never better. Jump in, you can race your current car in the Scout Challenge class and build your skill level!
