Hello everyone!
I just joined this forum and I am a complete rookie! I collect old school Pinewood Derby cars from the 1960's, fix and repair them and resell them. I am always on the lookout for old wheels, nail axles, and parts. I do keep some of the nicer carved cars for my collection.
Anyway ... I am here in this forum because after digging through some of my old cars I have found a wedge Pinewood derby car. It has quite a long weelbase of 5-1/2" and it has grooved axles. I am going to rebuild it, clean it up and try racing the Street Stock Amateur class. I have been reading the posts, looking at pictures and videos on what the best steps are to build a car. I'm sure I'll have some questions along the way.
So if the pro's have any hints, tips or ideas that will help me, that would be great!
Thanks in advance!
