Hollywood strikes out!

So I am binge watching Damages, and a bit comes on about pinewood- dialog was something like this-
Bad Guy ( played by Ted Danson)
writer- who cares

Bad Guy- "Were you ever in Boy Scouts"?
writer- " I was only in Webelos"
Bad Guy- well that ain't Boy Scouts!, Ever see something like this"? ( shows his car)
writer- sure, that's a pinewood derby car
Bad Guy- Ya! my Boy Scouts pinewood car!

And then a close up of the pinewood car- not a single correct thing on it- how hard would it have been to get a real car- my guess is way too hard for Hollywood.
