I did good this time

Well my car ran faster than last. That's great for me. Last time it ran 3.017. This time 3.007. That sub 3 mark is next guys. Now its time to figure out this prep stuff. Very lacking in this department. Its my second time to do this oil stuff. Wish someone lived close by that knew how to do this stuff but its ONLY graphite around here. It is dumb. Its raining here today, so what better day to get started on a car. I guess watch that dvd AGAIN. Just think some of that is very old news. But still very good information on procedures. One race at a time, little by little. When u are at the bottom, Good news is its all up hill from here. I like the down hill run. That's when I get to see if I did any good or not. Had fun yesterday seen my car run one race due to video kept stopping on me. But my car did good for me./images/boards/smilies/thumb.gif

Thanks iceman. Not many notes yet. Have not started playing with different things yet. I have a feeling that this next improvement in speed is going to b hard. But that's the fun part. Trying. Thanks again!

No never done that. Like I said just learning. I understand weight placement is very important. Never played with that. I have a whole lot of playing to do.

Very easy for most -Easy for some. There are some very experienced racers yet to break this barrier.

Congratulations on the speed gain! I wouldn't say breaking 3.00 is easy at all. About one in ten cars I build has a chance of breaking 3.0.
I also need to get better. you are right there and it is going to happen for you.

The people on this board are tremendously generous with their knowledge, a person just has to figure out how to implement it.
Funny how it takes me 20 - 24 hours to make a car that may break 3.0 and DD4H can "roll out of bed any day" and make a car that will go 2.97!
This ain't no Cubby race!
