I need more speed

I would throw the gap tool out the window and sets the gaps by eye..keep going tighter til car slows down

Just get some 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper and clean the up...no reason to take the car apart

No I meant in general when you get the wheels out of the box... do you suggestsanding them?

To try and make them round...no. i would spend 12 bucks and buy some 1.180 tall machined basx wheels that will fit any rule set...

Thanks for your help. I cleaned my wheels, re-set the gaps and tested the car on my dining room table. It’s running straight with no wheel rubbing or wobble. I think we’re ready to race!
