The forum has been quiet on this... There is a race this weekend, right?

Still ship to John's 2262 Colt Drive address?

I've got two SRs ready to go.
cool
New chassis and better prep. Hopefully I'll make a show of it this time round. /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif

Thanks for saying something. I almost forgot. Just got done tweaking my car's steer. Back in the box and getting labels printed out soon.

When I shipped it changed the address to 2262 S. Colt Drive on the USPS site.

I shipped priority mail on Saturday and they were delivered today. Left on the porch, hopefully at John's house.

Dangit. As this is my silly season (Pinewood Grand Prix Chairman and Go-to Pinewood guy — our race is on Saturday too) I didn't finish prepping my cars (SRs) last night. Jig, oil, and alignment is all I have left. If the SR race is Saturday, I can make it. Otherwise, March is looking pretty good. /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif

2 SS in the mail!!!!/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif/images/boards/smilies/wink.gif/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif/images/boards/smilies/wink.gif

2 SS and 2 BASX. May have found the consistency I've been hoping for.

I don't have any problem with consistency. I am always slow /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

Switched to DD4H oil and bought his wheel prep kit. Ran a 2.468 on a 35 foot track which beat my previous best time of 2.5001. Stuck it in the mail on Monday.

I stuck only one SR in the mail. After final prep, one of the cars wouldn't even roll all they way down my tuning board (very shallow angle). So, I will reprep the wheels and axles, and test it out on our scout track this week.

The Calliente 2.0 is on its way! /images/boards/smilies/cool.gif

Had the same thing last week ---- Car would not roll good on the table. I keep hearing like a grinding sound ??? So I went to work and changed axles and wheels
and the same thing --did not roll good ??? Re preped and replaced everything again --- same thing . Then I noticed that the left front wheel was just touching the ground
ever so slightly. OOOOO All that work for something so simple.

I had a strange noise, it was the bumps making a jet engine noise on my glass tuning table during the slow roll. I was concerned, I took it to my track and I was happy with the time. I don't think I elected to have the bumps removed by John, how much will this effect the potential of the wheel?

I assume you're talking Street Stock. The NPWDRL Mod is faster. How much? IDK. /images/boards/smilies/wave.gif
