I have been on the forum for a bit as my son races at the scout level. Our first proxy experience was the Coronavirus Sucks race then we sent cars to the National Championships. The cars I build with my son we race under Pack 195 Racing (an ode to our pack who likes to watch). With the new BASX AM series that John is running and the incentive of a sponsorship, we are giving it a shot. We will be racing under D&C Racing and look forward to the series and some pro racing in the future. Also looking forward to being part of the community and trying to learn as much as I can. Some forum members have already been extremely generous with their time and input and I hope to pay it forward when I can help.

Oh and it’s only just begun! LOL while being addicted to this hobby is cheaper than a lot of vices we silly guys can get involved in, this can still drain the wallet! At least we won’t get thrown in jail when we get caught playing with little 7” wooden cars.
No worries... when you win John’s sponsorship and become a fast pro you’ll hook your own newbies into this addiction too.
