July Fire Series Race

I just wondering with the next race in just 2-1/2 weeks, whether or not to try and re-prep my cars or send different cars?

I am not sure if I will have enough time to re-prep my cars. With about 3-4 days in the mail from Utah to Wisconsin and then another 3-4 days back to Utah for the next race there just is not a lot of time to tear cars apart and get them back together.

I am thinking of prepping a second set of cars to send for the July race while my other cars are in the mail from the June race.

I'm building new ones for July race, with only 3 weeks until race it the best option, plus gives me more time to get other cars ready for August race.

Hope he does move the date. We (the family and I) are planning on a vacation to Colorado for a week and a half, and I need some time to build for BASX and SS.

I don't believe my sister will have the silver bullet, drill press, and sander that I need to build something worth sending in. This vacation is right in the middle of the 3 weeks we have off between races. So, I get back to Georgia, and I will be pressed for time to build a couple of cars to send off. So the ......

Hey BBY... A personal visit is worth a thousand pictures.

If you can make a visit (if John is up for it, that is), you can pick up a LOT of supplies AND a bit of knowledge while you are at it.

USPS tracking info says my car is en route and should be delivered by Thurs. June 25th (or Friday June 26 at latest). That would give 2 weekends to rework / reprep the car and send back in early in the week of July 6th for the July 11th date. That said, I welcome an extra week to prepare for Fire race #2.
