I'm trying to apply a nice coat of clear on a Street Rod, and just having a bear of a time. Orange peel. As I'm spraying, it looks like I'm covering the car in micro-sand. Twice I've had to resand the clear. I have tried *five* different cans of clear on test spoons, and not one of them is going on glossy. GAH!!!

We're supposed to have a cold front come through here this weekend, so temps will drop into the 70s (from the mid-high 80s) and we should have a bit more humidity in the air. Surely the warm dry air has been the issue.

Wish me luck.

I love this clear! It acts like a 2 part and dries very quick, the spray tip is very nice and lays the product down well. I have used it in high humidity as well as cols and it works well. i have applied many coats in the same evening with out issue. Good luck.
