Keeping/setting up 2 lane track straight

On a 2 lane Best track, what do most of you do to get it straight on set up.
I have noticed even if the joints look tight, it might not be perfectly straight.....
and in case some one bumps it, what is the best way to get and keep it straight,
a string line? Or is there a better way?
The level is easy its just getting and keeping it straight on 18" high talble/risers

Use an inline laser and line up the center seem.

Thanks, didn't think of that. I set the track stands up level with the horizontal beam on my laser.
I can set the pod at the end of the track and send a vertical beam up from the end- to up to the start
section, should work great.
Sometimes you don't see whats right in front of you.
