Hi fellas,
I am in the market for some storage for materials.
Any advice on racks, cabinets, etc. is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What kind of Rack are you l@@king for? What kind of material will it hold? PWD.... Or Real Life heavy stuff.... Home or Work?

We have a supplier as we have two styles we use one for holding tires (TRUCK) 18 Wheeler Tires... and one for like Oil Filter/Fuel Filters...

Joe,

What type of materials are you looking to store. When you said racks I thought of lumber racks like this, but you may not have materials this ling and bulky. This system has 6 levels capable of holding 110 lbs each. I would say this is not free standing and will need to be mounted to a wall.

Thanks fellas,
I recently moved my workshop and would like to find storage for pieces of plastic and wood.
There are scraps that can fit in tote bins and larger pieces that are 48"x 48"
I have tote bins full of sprays can and chemicals too.
The wire racks are what I am considering for the totes.
Basically I need to store just about everything.
Power hand tools, materials, (some of the materials come in a roll like rubber) a handful of long sticks (like rods, tubes, 1x2" wood)
Thanks again for you suggestions

Hey Joe, i have a bunch of small scraps so i took a 12" post hole form (not sure if thats what they are called- a cardboard tube) cut one @ 2 ' and the other @ 3.5' then '*PL400'D theme to a 2X12x30. And it sits in a corner with all my scrap wood and metal. Takes minimal amount of room up. I also fastened it to the wall.

Good thinking on the Sono Tubes Shawn!
What is a PLD 400D theme? You lost me at that point.
Thanks,
Joe

PL400 is a glue that will outlast any project. Made by loctite and is used alot in home construction. Found in chalk type tubes. If you decide later to take apart your better off cutting the glue part away or throwing it away! Lol
