Dot your i’s & cross your t’s fellas!!
The Nats is a little over a week away & it’s crunch time. Let’s hear what some of YOU guys are doing to get ready for this event!

The Do It For Dale Flying Aces have been working their tails off to get the lil car that couldn't set up to cut a hundredth or 3 off their sub 3 average since last race. The Intimidator is/was a loosely built AWANA car that showed up at Eagle Mountain with the wrong platform, bad drill, wrong BASX WB, left steer, and a weighting system that was just thrown together to make weight.

With the addition of a SBX to their arsenal they've corrected and verified the drill, converted to right hand steer, 4 3/4ed the wheel base, drilled out all the randomly placed lead and is now weighted properly, chopped the top to lower its aero footprint, an axle upgrade and a whole new axle prep routine. It may want to run uphill but it won't be from the lack of putting in the work. We're Doin' It For Dale because Dale did it for us !!

Ballistic you're one bad fast racer !!

Rat Rod, really looking forward to seeing the rebuilt Intimidator run! Can’t wait to see those times!
Thanks for the encouragement Mr' Jimmy. Here's why we can't give up on The Intimidator and build a new car from scratch just to look like everybody else. Mr. Restrictor Plate never gave up on a car so we can't either because we're Doin' It For Dale !!

Oh guys....btw just heard that the track will be slightly angled this year....so it is recommended to use about 3 to 4 inches More steer than normal, for Right dom cars only. Left doms need to steer off rail the same 3 to 4 inches to run. PM me in you need any help with your set ups, I would love to help out.

Why in the blue blazes would they want to angle the track ? Precision Red Neck Guess Work is the only thing holding my rig together. That is before today when it rolled off the work bench when a friend distracted me with a surprise visit to the Garagemahal. Some really nice 2.4's took a lick and the right axle boss said adios. Billy's Red Neck Do It for Dale's Flyin' Aces pit crew is working their Ace's off to make it for shipping time Monday morning.
