Good morning to all you fine pinewood nerdy fans, participators and wannabe racers. Wow it has been a long time since I have been on the board and figured its either time to rekindle old friendships or start some new rivalry. Back in the day many accused me of secretly being Mr. Butterhole. Not true! If you don't know who that is, well then chaps you better prep your mobiles and prepare your merkins for race day.

Rumor has it that Chips has been working on the chemical make up of synthetic oils and physics to prepare a solid thrashing. Yes its been a while since I have had a car on the track. But lets face it, many of you were still in pinewood puberty while I could stand my ground with the greats of DD4H, Kinser, Quicktime, 5Kids, and even the dookie brothers. I never thought I would be one to fall of the face of the derby world but as we all know life happens.

I have relocated to the Portland, OR area with finally a solid position with a company. I have missed many of you and some not so much....
Many of you I don't know so its up to you to become friend or foe. Look out boys here comes Mr. Chips is back in the game or at very least some good verbal abuse on the board.

By the way who was so unoriginal to copy my name and use "Chips" in their racer name?

Great to see you back Chips! I missed your fights back in forth with Mr. Butterhole. Although I wasn't as involved during that time, I did get quite a laugh or two from your jabs back and forth. I surely haven't been around as long, but I can tell you new guys here, this guy is good. Anything Chips says Id write it down. I've read through a lot of threads and Chips has a lot of good advise, when he gives it. I was talking to Chris the other day asking where you were, so I'm glad to see you back and will enojoy racing against you. That's about all I'd be willing to do as I'd NEVER go toe to toe in the ring with ya /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

Butterhole used to be a very great racer (very much past tense, because his skills are at least 3 or 4 years old by now).
AND he has never once submitted a car to NPWDRL, but has raced sporadically in other leagues under a completely different name. IMHO, he knows he is now "out of date".
Butterhole was just a "pseudo name" for purposes of "jabbing/mocking" at our (the most successful) league. My opinion - pure jealousy! (Now I will probably get a nasty letter from him)

Ah this would be me...Don't flatter yourself, wasn't a attempt to copy. My nickname is Chip, its what ive gone by since 8th-9th grade. ive been using the "derbychip" name since I started in Derbies over 10 years ago (demolition derbies at that time) once this PWD bug got me I kept the name as it still fit...

So I see the likes of Chief still begging for someone to do something for him. Some things never change.
I have before and I will again provide you with a solid tongue lashing and my cars will continue to show you the back side as I continue to put several lengths on you.

Chip Derby - Its all good man I have had Chip as a nick name my entire life as it is the beginning of my last name. You will see soon enough I have a little fun on the board and call some out... Its always in good fun with a smile and entertainment. Besides it makes the forum not such a stuffy whats your com, or whats your steer, when to apply oil and what does my un-block weigh. blah blah blah.

Opa this brings me to you Sir Roger..... Last I spoke with you, there had been some health concerns and mostly your driving of the wifes Cadillac. Hopefully your mobiles have fared better than your real cars. Thank you for confirming what I had already assumed. Opa Rennen is in fact Mr. Butterhole. You have played in our sandbox and others.... HMMM thanks for clearing that up.

Kinser, Joel, and Skippy, I honestly miss our friendly banter but you guys are the best. However, I hope to give a fair showing next time down the track.

Mr. DD4H, You have been by my side through it all. Thank you brother.

Now, who dares challenge Mr. Chips online verbally and then on the track? I know I don't need to
worry about Chief. His words and cars are just soft polishing.
