I've been asked by some people about my cars, body's, wheels, axles, ect. So let me break it down for you all by class.
SS- All cars are solid SSG Sugar pine, I don't know what they weigh before weight. They all have 12 cubes behind the axle and the rest in frt. on two of they I have a tungsten plate also. I also always put some puddy in just in case weight needs to be removed. The axles are dynasty 92x's. Wheels are dynasty 2gram V3 SQ, SQ stand for super quite, I made that up.(SQ) They are running on Jig and Derby Dad 4 Hire oil.
SP- Solid SSG, same weight as the SS, same axles, wheel are Intimidators, same lube
Eliminator- Same wood, weight, axles, and lube. The wheels however I made, with a ton of info and help from 5kids, thanks Scott. I have yet to perfect it and can't wait to see what they can do when I get them all figured out.
Unlimited- Same wood, and weight. The axles are Goat boys. The bearings I got from Derby Dad 4 Hire. The wheels I made and are a lot better then the Eliminator but could still be better.
That's what QT's cars are made of. I've been thinking about trying some of Johns new blocks, and some different base lubes. It's just hard for me to try new stuff with what's currently out there is so good. One day ill make some time! If you have any other questions just ask. But don't expect everything.
