My Very First League Race and I won't be home to watch!

Well, I knew this was coming, but now that my cars are shipped I'm very disappointed that I won't be able to watch the live stream on Saturday. I was hoping to hang out and chat with everyone, and watch my car, and my boys car go.

But I can't.

On the bright side, I'll be spending my day at Arnold Palmer Airport watching the Blue Angels doing their demonstration with my family. I'm sure my three boys are going to love it!

I hope someone will check out my cars and give me some pointers on ways to improve them.

On Saturday I'll have F/A-18s doing 500 mph over my head while my 5 oz pinewood race car struggles to go 42 feet in less than 3 seconds somewhere in Utah.

I am in the same boat. My wife and I have Mellencamp tickets in Augusta, and my Dad doesn't have internet service. It's all good. I can watch it after it archives.

If you get the Livestream app on a smart phone, you can watch it live. When I'm not able to dedicate a chuck of time at home to watch, I just check in periodically throughout the day and try to catch a few runs to see if I'm even in the hunt or not.

I have had this same thought man! I have so much fun with these cars, I freaking go to bed dreaming about the next thing I'm going to try. I'm slow to learn but I don't quit. What am I doing with my life? I must say this is wholesome. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a grown man who loved PWD as much as we do and not be a decent person. Just about everyone I have met who loves this is a damn fine man. So, congrats on being a PWD nerd!

Hope you can watch it on your phone, but watching the blue angles is a good days as well, I grew up in Glenview navy base (not there anymore) and got to see the blue angles a ton along with the thunderbirds.

I play Magic: the Gathering, and I have thousands of old cards...
I watch Nascar, I collect Dale Sr. 1/64 cars...
I collect board games
I collect stamps...
I run a Civil War website with many many visitors...
We, my wife and I, collect Fiesta Dinnerware....

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few of my smaller hobbies....
