I was hosting a pack race tonight. This was after the race. The new eliminator was the slower of the 2. The crazy thing is, is the difference of only .004!!!! Last month my unlimited avg. was 2.8582 that puts this car running in the area of 2.862!!! I hope it travels well.

I was very shocked to say the least. There is still room for improvement I believe also. That car has been down the track 4 times, and I see 3 more points that need improvement. I am going to laugh when I improve them and slow down!
smack
wah
Then again maybe things will work like they are suppose to?
surrender
Also I can not believe how quite the car is! You almost cant even hear it. Any one else that is running these wheels and axles seeing or hearing the same?

Are you running the grooved or un-grooved axles ?

It actually looks very similar to Spirits. It wasnt really the design I was going for but what I ended up with. It has no paint or anything yet so it looks pretty basic.i will try to post a picture tonight.

The axle are the grooved ones.

Man...I dont think I would paint it...I would just slap a sticker on it and call it done. You take the risk of not getting things back just right...that thing is a smokin fast car but that is just my luck with things...

Thanks for the pix !!! I see the secret - it's the double washers !!! Twice the slipperiness !
smile
I agree with Chief, don't paint it, maybe stain the top. Let it smoke the track as-is.

I just finished making the spacers for all the wheels I have to get them just right to keep the car centered on the track. That Teflon is tough to handle when it gets that small. The car will be re prepped and a few other things tried for some more speed. My biggest hope is that I don't completely ruin it. I have been known to do that.
