Hey everybody. New guy here. Just wanted to introduce myself a bit. Been building cars for a little bit and running them through an Awana program here in a local church. Have a lot of guys on the major websites as I tried to improve my performance. I wanted to get out there and see how to get started on the pro circuit.

Also love to see a strong NC presence out there as well.

Would love to hear how the best way to go about getting my feet wet.

Check out NPWDRL. There are two classes perfect for getting your feet wet - Box Stock and BASX Amateur.

There is a category for rules and questions for each class and the race registration link is at the top right.

I agree. You need to jump in and race at the NPWDRL. The BASX AM is a great place to start.

+1 on the NPWDRL and BASX. My experience is similar, getting ready now for my second race. BASX allows for using pro axles and wheels but without some of the other speed variables such as fenders or bearings. In short, it is a great place to hone your fundamentals.
