Is there any movement to add winning Icons for SS? I.e. times like: 2.96XX, 2.95XX, 2.94XX (and who knows, maybe even 2.93XX). Didn't a couple of cars hit 2.93XX on single runs in Feb.?

I would also like to see some for a combination of ELIM and UNLM, call them "Razor Classes", with icons for times like: 2.87XX, 2.86XX, 2.85XX For example, we had 35 Razor cars in January, and almost 30 in February.

Whereas we had 43 and 35 SS's in those months.

I suppose we can add more but I have to shrink them a little.

That's good. Whenever Kinser or QuickTime post, I almost have to turn the page
lol

Or we could limit them to 1 1/2 years maybe??? This hobby moves pretty fast and what was fast in 2012 is not very fast anymore. JM2C.

The monthly ones should be dropped at the beginning of a new year.
The speed badges and track record badges should probably go away also just because of the improvements to the track have changed times so much.
Just let them keep series and national championship badges.

But all of that is easier said than done.

Hey!!! It's easy to say drop badges when you don't have many/any but if you were the one that worked your tail off to achieve them you would view it entirely different. For the most part it's the main recognition you get other than "Congratulations to all of the Racers". /images/boards/smilies/wave.gif

I agree with keeping them. The badges that the racers win are like their trophies and something to be proud of, I think it show
how hard some of them are working on their craft.

So Chris, what league was it where you won those "Pure Stock", "Super Mod" and "Super Pro Mod" titles in back in 2011 ?

I'd like to keep any badges I may be fortunate enough to earn.
Nice to have something to show for all the hard work.

The badges also let you know if you are talking to someone who has proven themselves in this hobby.

Brian hit all points perfectly as far as i'm concerned... especially the last one, lots of advice flying around.

A couple guys may have a lot of them, but they are very hard to come by and a nice little treat for your efforts.

Just shrink'em...getting smaller and smaller as the years go by...ha! Sorry Chris, had to throw that in there for ya! /images/boards/smilies/tongue.gif

Those were from the very first, unofficial NPWDRL Race. Pure Stock=Street Stock (Scout wheelbase and placement with heavy wheels. Similar to BASX with fenders), Super Mod=Needle axle, razor wheels (Class was a pain and eliminated), Super Pro Mod=Unlimited.

I saw some color changes in the "Badges" for builders.
In Ice Race #2, 11 SS cars had average runs of less than 2.9500. Does a badge exist for "SUB 2.95"? Or Sub 2.96?

Also, Skippy had 2 runs of 2.9405 and 2.9406. So I think "SUB 2.94" is just around the corner

Are the various badges posted automatically, or is there a person who should be notified?
