Save the plastic packaging the next time you buy windshield wiper blades for your car or truck. You can make many wheels covers from it.

Ok so lay the hard plastic flat, then put a thin coat of glue on the tire rim, place tire on clear plastic glue side down, then use razor blade to cut the circle? Do you lightly sand the edge afterwards? Just trying to get a visual game plan. This is for the NDFW right?

Yeh Todd, IMHO I wouldn't put a cover over the front wheel for a scout race. It will raise a lot of problems . The "cheater" word will come out before you even race. Plus I would run the raised wheel the normal way. Sorry I didn't notice that on Sunday. Sleepers are the best!!!!

You can also use packaging tape. Trim the hub down to the same level as the inner wheel radius edge. The tape is already sticky, apply the tape, punch a hole for the axle , trim around the edge and your good to go. Make sure it is clear see thru tape so John can see the inside of the wheel at tech-in....SPIRIT...../images/boards/smilies/smile.gif/images/boards/smilies/wink.gif
