New Street Stock ... Tuning begins(¹no name yet)

Looks good! I hope you have better luck than I did. The one I built was fast, but not as fast a Gold Rush.

On the NDW's axle hole: Did you drill the hole at an angle, or did you bend the nail so it went in the original hole?

I would say he bent the axle but maybe not. That's the way I had to do it to get the wheel in the correct position.

looks good bro, do you gain much speed with the ndfw canted at a 45 like that?

Haven't seen much if any

I've been wondering about this for awhile now, but here is my 2¢ worth. I think the 45° NDFW is a "magic trick". When you look at the car you focus on the strangely located wheel/fender combo because the car is amazingly fast and therefore feel this is the where the speed lies. I have never seen this car live and in person, likely talking through my hat, but I believe the speed secret lies elsewhere in the car and the 45'd wheel/fender combo is just a distraction, hence the "magic trick".

We'll never know until one of two things happens: One, someone has figured out the magic in this build or two, the original builder reveals his magic (I don't see this happening). Until then, build on people, build on! The R&D continues!
