OK I have been working on making things even better for this race and I have a few new changes that should make the race much more enjoyable.
1. There will now be a leader board displayed during the race. I will have it up on a few monitors for the live guys and I will make a new camera window for the proxy racers. This will drastically make the race more fun to watch and keep the intensity throughout the event rather than just for a few seconds at the end of each class.
2. I am working on a "HOTLINE" to the stagger. I am trying to set up a system so the proxy racers can instantly message the stagger if they think they want something different done to their car. I am thinking about using yahoo IM and having an IPad by the stagger. THis will require you to set up your Yahoo IM accounts and get friended. If anyone can quickly think of an easier and more simple platform to use please let me know ASAP.
3. I think the camera angle and video were very good from last race so I will try and keep that the same. I am going to try and get an even closer zoom in on the cars so you can actually see them before they get to the finish line. It is harder than it looks to film these little demons!
