Nitro wheel distortion?

Will rear mounted ( standard orientation) 1.4g Nitro wheels support a full 24 cubes without distortion ?

They are lighter than any wheel I have used to date, they feel as though they could possibly distort through the bottom of the transition curve.Typical 3* neg camber set-up, with approximately 2.25/oz of static load on each wheel. I'm wondering if the dynamic load through the transition could possibly cause wheel distortion and tuning nightmares, and/or impede times.

Thanks,

Momentum-

if the treads are spongy... you need to run them reverse

Hi TRE.....they are new wheels I just got from John.To me they feel spongy and flexible, but I don't have enough experience with light wheels to really gauge them. From searching the forum It appears wheel flex is usually only an issue if you get down to one of the 1g or below cuts, but I'm not sure if that includes a full 24 cubes set at.... 6-6|axle|6-6
