I just broke my car I was going to send to nationals. It was complete and I took it and tuned it on a track that has been set up for a scout derby tomorrow and I made an adjustment and slipped and poof all that work and now a broken frame. Man I am frustrated now because it was a good build and it was fast. The track didn't have a timer but I raced against my car that I raced a couple weeks ago and it probably wouldn't have beat you guys but I wouldn't have been spanked as bad.

I had the same thing happen yesterday. I was tuning my Street Pro from last months race. It flew off the stop section. Totally smashed the front end. Took me two hours to cut off the front end and repair the damage. Won't know until I reprep the wheels if the repair was successful.

Sorry to hear of the mishap WoundedBear. There is still some time to make another one, some of my faster cars were build in a matter of hours. Less brain power and more common sense went into the build, no time to over think the operations. Just buckle down and go Nike on it (just do it).

That is a bummer man. I'm sorry to hear it. I only dropped my own car once and broke off the fender. Then I dropped DG's car once. I think he forgave me on that one because it was faster after I dropped it. My heart still stopped for a second though.

Where'd the break happen? If the area doesn't involve the rear axles, I would attempt to epoxy the body back together. If the rear alignment is affected, though, I'd definitely rebuild.

At least your wheel and axle prep is taken care of already.

I broke the frame by the ndfw and I think it broke right between the back axels I haven't taken it apart to see yet. That's tonight's project. I hope it's just the front and I can fix that.
