i just got home from my deployment and started working with my son on the MidAmerica graphite scout car. It’s not pretty but my son is pumped and I am enjoying this challenge. A work in progress

Thanks for your service that service lets us do this crazy hobby or illness! Good luck on your build. I learned the hard way this year and before you put to much time in car check alignment!

Ok I have another question. Do you still run washers with air shields. Thanks in advance.
Also made my own fenders with the help of my son and YouTube. It’s a learning experience.

Great job on the fenders. Keep this in mind... check their width to the wheels when the wheels are installed. Make sure they aren’t a lot wider. Especially the forward facing rear fender behind the front wheels. If it sticks out wider than the wheel it’s then just an air catcher.
Again tho, great job.
