Novus2 Application Process

I read the instructions on the Novus 2 bottle and it says to apply, let dry, and buff to a shine. For PWD wheels, What is the preferred method?

(1) Do you chuck up a Qtip stalk, apply N2 to the end, slowly rotate the drill, in and out twice with lots of squeaking, wash dry, done.

Or

(2) Apply N2 with a scratchless applicator into the bore, let try, then chuck up a Qtip stalk and dry buff slowly twice in and out for roughly 20 seconds, wash, dry, done.

Is there another method of choice?

Step 1 is how I used to do it but I think I did it more than twice...I didnt have much luck with that product, so I switched to DD4H products! The new Black Ice is super amazing!!! I think anyway...

Novus2 is an abrasive. It's only meant to polish.

Step 1. Or if you don't like the q-tip stalk then use a tamiya swab.

I don't think step 2 will do much of anything
