NPWDRL Street Stock Breakdown!

Sorry for the delay! This is made up from the Spring Fever results for the Elite and past performance for Pro. To be in the Elite class all you have to do is place in the top 10 for a race and you can bump an Elite member down. To get into the Pro class you must finish higher than 3 other competing Pro class racers in an event. Once you achieve the Pro rank you do not go back to Amateur! Winners of each division will be recognized at each event!!!

The rest of the field will start in the Amateur class for Nationals. If you feel like you were omitted from the Pro class please let me know. In all honesty I don't classify any of you as Amateur but I could not think of another name for the division. Each racer has been given a trophy for their new ranking. You will receive Virtual Trophies for the different division victories. Good luck at Nationals!

In order to bump an Elite member down, wouldn't you, the pro, need to have a faster time than the Elite you are bumping down????

Hey, what happened to my virtual seal for track record on Unlimited?
Do you lose that once your record is later broken?

Sorry Opa, the track record seal is for the current holder. I am sure you will be seeing it again.

That is correct about the Elite. If you finish top 10 then you definitely will have a faster time than at least one of the Elites. If the league continues to grow at this pace then the Elite class might have to expand.

So who's the current holder? Is it the fastest time for each race? The badge says 2012 record holder. A 2.878 doesn't beat the 2.852's that Opa and I ran in March. Does it reset each race or how does it work? /images/boards/smilies/confused.gif

From Kinser:
So who's the current holder? Is it the fastest time for each race? The badge says 2012 record holder. A 2.878 doesn't beat the 2.852's that Opa and I ran in March.

From OPA:
Just out of interest, I ran a ratio between the March Track and the May Track, using the top 8 finalist's times. The ratio is 1.009236, meaning that the Mar times were faster and May's are slower. Incidentally, I ran ratios for the other classes, and although the ratios are not identical, they are very close.

Results:
The fastest single run time for Unlimited in March was 2.852 by OPA and Kinser. That translates to an equivalent May time of 2.8783. Since Mr. Chips fastest single run was 2.8780, that means Chips really does hold the Unlimited track record by 3/10.000ths of a second.

The fastest average time for unlimited in March was 2.830 by both OPA and Kinser. That translates to an equivalent May time 2.8794 which is faster than the average May time of 2.8830, meaning Kinser/OPA's March adjusted average time was 36/10,000ths faster than the May average

That means Mr. Chips has the fastest single time record, and OPA and Kinser have the fastest combined average time.

My question is: which is used for the special shield? Avg, or Single run?

Thanks Opa I always love getting my name mentioned when it leads Kinser. If all goes well, June will have the same result.
