Oleophobic coating for smart phones.

Anyone test this stuff out yet or something similar? From what I have gathered it seems using the oil process the wheel bore holds the oils while the axle is prepped to be as oleophobic as possible. Not sure if this stuff would work on axles or if you would switch it and just polish the axles and make the wheel bore the oleophobic surface.

But like Kinser has said many times...master the DVD then move onto something else.

Jig seems to be hard to find. Amazon has it but may be old stock. Part of my job is to continually find ways to improve on efficiency of the processes that we use to complete a given project. If I had access to a track I would likely tinker with different products. I am also stubborn about spending money and like the challenge of piecing together clues from all the forum posts on how most of the top guys prep their cars.

I believe the product will only work with glass. The instruction reads that it is not effective on any screen protective films. I can only speculate these films are of some sort of plastic.

With this thought in mind, I would say this product would be ineffective on the wheel. As far as it working with the axle, let me know how it works.

Makes sense. Just checking if anyone has already tried. I stumbled on it after writing off the "neverwet" and other ultra-hydrophobic products.
