How much does the DFW riding on the tread bumps generally slow you down?

I think all three of my cars have that issue this time around and I know you can't get rid of them in BASX and Box Stock. The FDW on my Street Stock is a BASX wheel because I only had two good SS wheels. So, that one is "growling" a little as it rolls as well.

I usually put the wheels with the tread bumps in the rear; however, I have never ran one 2g and one 2.4g wheel at the same time in the rear

I was always faster with tread bumps... lol... no idea why...

Maybe less friction??

I would doubt it. If you're hearing it, there's definitely some energy being expended. But how 5Kids was faster vs no bumps, I can only imagine that he might've been running a different angle on the DFW.

I would imagine a couple runs would level them out a little. Not completely. Wishful thinking maybe.

But that is another thing. When wheels are breaking in after the first few runs, what exactly is happening to make the wheels turn faster?

Bulldog will be there in person and is going to bail me out with a good DFW on my Street Stock, Natalee! I just wanted to chime in on that publicly just so you know, if you didn't already, he is a team player.
