Ok I had to do it, I know the wing slows me down a bit but it was fun. I changed my mind at the last minute and made the SS car 45degrees. I went to a full body wrap, it took a lot of hours and a bunch of trial and error to get them to fit perfect. The Orange Superbird had a full wrap like the others but I didn't compensate enough for the fenders and didn't feel like driving into work and printing off the changes. She also feels a little hurried up compared to the other two. The one good thing is they are faster than their predecessors in both classes.

Whewww

LOL!!! Love it!

Those are awesome Ice. I like the way you used graphics and forced perspective to represent 3D aspects of the car that would have hindered speed in the PWD.

All with the exception of the spoiler.

I think this is a courageous decision to possibly sacrifice some aero to stay true to the integrity of the original. Who knows? It might end up giving you some down force that might help,... or hinder.

The 45* wheel on the other seems to deviate from the look a bit, but either way I can see this style as an entire series.

Great work. Very creative.

Thanks Joe, I tried a little lighting effect to really make them pop but that is not my forte so I backed out on the settings.

Ice, your cars where the most awesome looking cars there. I don't know how much time you spent on them but they are a great work of art. Ran good also. Keep the wings.

All for the wing, say aye!
Oh I finally have a little bit of speed and you two are trying to talk me into a parachute?? lol really thanks for the support guys!! I actually have something in mind though if I have time , should be interesting!! Stay tuned!

You have a track to test on? Would be curious to see how much the wing is effecting performance. Does it come off and on easy? Can you change the pitch of the cross bar? I also wonder if changing the pitch to give the back end some lift would reduce friction of the back tires enough to compensate for wind drag.

Actually I do have a track but its a Fair weather/wife track. She gets a little PO'd after about 3 weeks of it setup in the basement! lol

The Wings pop off easy, actually the Superbird II was broke off and Petty's bird one side was broke when I got them back. Who knows how it happened but they are soo easy to break being 1/16 Balsa covered with CA. Hmmm plastic might be the way to go and use colored plastic! hmmmm

Pitch, it would be interesting to play around with it a bit. I'm, guessing it would be hard to tell much of a difference. I do know I had to change weights around ever so slightly.
