So we have been bored waiting for the district races. As I mentioned in my earlier thread, we had made some other cars to gain some experience with the tools. We decided to play with paint this morning. Chameleon paint.

Very cool. This might just be cool enough for my kids to skip all requests for logos and characters.

We have been trying to find paint like this. What is it/where did you find? Is it in a rattle can?
Rust-Oleum Color Shift

3 coats of flat black - 1 hour in between each coat
3 coats of Color Shift - 5 minutes between coats

It is clear when it comes out so it is a little hard to tell how much you are applying. Also it takes a few minutes for the effect to show. Try it on a piece of stock before your project piece. I thought I did something wrong or got a bad can the first test I did!

I have tried it over several other colors (blue and red) and it didn't work. Next test will be on darker colors like OD green.
