Still have to trim the axles downThat rear gap is way too big. Lol
Thats a solid 3Oz tungsten disk in the rear as far back as i can get it the rear of the block was cut off to make room to push the weight back. No other way to maximize the disk. The weight is both behind and in front of the axles 50-50 split with a lead dome on top.Nice job! I think I can see where you have to shorten the axles. Maybe for the next build make a bigger weight pocket, and drill enough so that the axle fits all the way, and put some weight behind the axles, and some in front.
Overall nicely done!

Good eye the weight is sticking out of the back I made it a part of the body structure. It is directly centered on the axles. Inline with where the rear of the block would have been. It’s still legal sizeLooks really cool with that paint job! Nice job. It looks like from the picture, that the weight is sticking out the back? Is that car still 7"?
For Awana church event. Is it for scout racing or league racing?
Ok, that makes since now. Good move on your part, because the AWANA blocks seem to be a bit shorter than 7" anyway. Just make sure all wheels don't stick out any part of the car that would make it longer as well. We raced AWANA's as well for a long time, and I do miss those days. Good luck and have fun!Good eye the weight is sticking out of the back I made it a part of the body structure. It is directly centered on the axles. You'll probably win AWANA best design and 1st in Speed with that set up. Good luck. Let me know what your best ET was during the race. Blessings.......RRRFor Awana church event.

BTW if you know of an AWANA kid that needs to build on a budget let me know. Gotta setup that will max weight a car using 32 pennies more or less. Basic wedge/slightly EWB and 1" COM. But need access to a wood worker with a 3/4" Forsner bit and basic carpenter tools.
