I am new to the forum and have a graphite/pledge question. Is there any difference in results using Pledge Clean? We have had great results with polishing to 3000 grit and polishing with mother's. We polished the latest set with liquid glass and they look great. Should I use the new lemon pledge formula, or was this great until it changed? We need just a little extra boost to get the title this year. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I just want to thank everyone for the great information. It helped a ton we were able to wi our council race. We are running 2.98 on a 42ft besttrack with graphite. I think oil may be in our future. Special thanks to dd4h for the great partsand tools!!!

We ran with thin to win and first time using the Gee Fenders.

Sweet thanks for the pic- are you at 5 inch wheelbase there? And are your fenders pointed on the tops or does it just look like that in the photo? I have some balsa fenders I made that I plan to use- probably try the gee next year. Anyone have advice on how to treat the balsa wood before I paint it? I heard covering with CA glue and sanding and then painting?

I am at a 5" wheelbase and I am running the Gee Fenders. They are pointed on the top and provide clearance so they don't touch the rail as well.
