I've been trying to figure out a way to polish the outer hub with not a lot of luck. I have learned that trying to polish the hub area with the drill speed to fast will melt the plastic. What are some of the methods being used?
Before I polish the wheel bore I mount a q-tip shaft in my cordless drill with just enough shaft to go thru the bore. Then I slowly install the shaft in the bore with the outer hub facing out. Now I can polish the hub while the wheel is turning in the drill.
Good tip ZZ.... I actually have never polished the outer hub area, I just wax it with the bore. I will give it a try and see if there is some additional speed there/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
This is exactly how I do both inner and out hubs. Works great!!

I use this method also. I first polish with DD4H #1, then with Red Rocket or whatever you use for polish #2. I let it spin on a dril, using the polish on a clean cloth.
