Today is the day I lay down the first coat of wax.
If I use the no scratch applicator in the bore, can a q-tip be used to wax the hubs or is there a preferred method?
I'm thinking about using the no scratch applicators instead of the fluffy pipe cleaners- it just seems to me that the no scratch applicator will apply the wax with a bit more pressure and less chance of contamination.
In the past I used the pipe cleaner because the fibers actually spread out and coated the hubs while the bore was being coated. With 20 wheels about to be prepped, I am a bit leery that a bore will end up getting trashed from the sharp metal end.
