Preparations for districts

Hey guys, I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before but my son has his district pinewood derby in a week and the his car hasn't been touched in a month. Is there anything we should do to the car to get ready to race again? I appreciate any feedback! Thanks

That is a loaded question! That could be anywhere from start over to nothing!

I am assuming you are pleased with the way it ran at the Pack race and you just want to know what to do to get it ready after it sat for a month? Are you running on the same type of track?

Graphite: Clean the wheels, re-check drift, re-graphite....

Oil: Clean the wheels, re-check drift.....

My bad, I guess I was pretty vague . I am happy with the way it ran at the pack race and yes, we are running on the same type of track for districts. Being new to the derby I didn't know if the car sitting for a month would affect anything. Thank you for you help!
