Proper Weighting for NPWDRL

I'm sure this has been addressed before (I'm just not finding it), but what is the best way to submit a car to the NPWDRL races and not have it overweight? I recently ran in a couple of local races, and at every check in, the car's weight was different on different scales. Now I typically leave the underbody of my car partially exposed and finish with the last 1/8 oz with puddy at the event...but this couldn't happen unless I was able to physically be there. Maybe those that are able to go aren't even able to do this with their cars?

In the event that I measured the weight of my car on my home scale to be 141 grams (5 oz) and it measures slightly above legal racing limits, is it immediately disqualified?

Thanks in advance guys.

With the scale that you have, use a calibrated weight to calibrate your scale, at whatever that weight might be.

If I remember correctly, league (NPWDRL) racing allows 143 grams, so at 141g you should be well within the limits, provided the scale has been calibrated to the weight of choice.
