Q-Tips vs Tamiya

I have been using Tamiya 87106 swabs for the past 3 years and have never tried the Q-tip approach to polishing wheel bores. I was wondering if all of the pro’s have converted to Tamiya swabs? What are the pros and cons and is Walgreens still the preferred brand?

I'm not a rail runner, but I say if the swabs work for you stick with it. Although it doesn't hurt to try something different once and awhile.
