sometimes the direction you rotate the swab can cause the wrapping on the swab to gather enough to bind on itself creating bore damage or a stuck swab. You can try peeling a layer off of the swab also then spin it in the direction that won't cause it to gather.

Well just got back Walmart and might have hit the jackpot. White Cloud cotton swabs (750 count) Sized averaged .097 or .098 oh ya!!!
