Well... we ran the scout race this evening and qualified for City tomorrow evening. Overall time was 3.298 on a wooden track. He took overall fastest car and a first place for his division. Needless to say... he was very happy.

UPDATE!!! Out of a field of 42 cars we ran a overall average time of 3.299, only .001 seconds off from last nights average time. Talk about consistency. Anyhow, we placed first in the city event! I've got pics coming, as soon as I am able to upload them to the computer.

To quote my son just before learning that he was going to be announced the winner he whispered to me... "I'm so excited that I think I going to pee my pants". That was the best! I busted out laughing as he sat there with his legs clinched and bouncing in his seat.
