Is there such a title at the end of the year that John gives a builder at the end of the year... Just curious?? This is my first year league racing... proxy racing..

I don’t think there has been a rookie of the year award in the past, but I like the concept. With all of the different series and events (spring series, fall series, National Championships & December event) I think it would have to be determined by a poll at the end of the year.
I too like the idea and I think I may have even mentioned it some time ago, or maybe I just thought I did. I know I spoke with someone about it, it doesn't matter, I've obviously forgotten. Either way the idea is a good one.

I would go one step further and make sure two classes were recognized Rookie & the Pro builders as we continue to be inspired by the guys that have been here over a year...
Maybe a badge that was created to show Rookie Builder/Racer 2013 & Pro Builder/Racer 2013.. It would come down to what you wanted to judge off of I guess building skills or racing?

What happens if you come in half way through the year ? Do you still have a chance for the following "full" year ?
