ALERT!!! RULE UPDATE!!!​

All classes will run a prelim round. If there are 10 or more cars in a class a finals round will be run except for the HOT ROD class. The cars that will qualify for the the finals will be determined by times. In every class except for Unlimited we will take all the cars within .004 of the lead car. In Unlimited it will be .002

For clarification, is the intent to advance top four "CARS" or "BUILDERS" into finals, plus all cars within .002 of lead Unlimited car and within .004 of lead car for remaining classes?

Technically possible that one builder could have the 4 fastest cars in prelims and all 4 faster than the .002 or .004 than the next builder. Last Outlaw race we had 4 cars in finals represented by just two builders, one builder had 3 of them. Just looking for clarification on intent to advance 4 builders or 4 cars. I concur with adding additional cars that are within the stated times of lead car.

The rule was intended to be based on cars and not builders. I am happy to accommodate you guys if you would like to see something different. I just wanted to clearly define who makes it to finals.
