I looked for prior posts on this but couldn't find anything on it....
I can still see fine sand scratches when looking at my axles at an angle with a jewelers loop. They are still super shiny though. If I look at them straight on I don't see them. I haven't really noticed before on any axles I prepped before this year but I don't know if I looked at them at an angle.
Here's what I did the 92's and the stock axle we used for the scout race
Wet sand with 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 grit paper for about 20 sec each at @1500RPM. Then I apply cheetah kiss axle polish with a leather strip, clean with a cotton string, clean with Windex.
With this process should I see those scratches? If not any suggestions on where I went wrong.
