Securing and covering weights

Whats the best way to secure the weights. I read double stick tape but what about covering them? I routed out my weight pockets but got way to close to the sides and have no back wood so duct tape doesn’t have much to gtip.

Foil HVAC tape works great to cover and secure your weights in place.

If there is no back wood and your cubes dont go all the way back you can add a strip of balsa or any wood to make a clean area to secure your weight to.
